Terms of Service

1. Enrolment and Payment

Course registration is confirmed once payment is received in full. Prices are in Canadian dollars plus applicable GST. Pricing varies by service area — confirm your area's pricing before registering. Edge Driving School reserves the right to adjust prices with reasonable notice.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Students must give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited without refund. Lessons cancelled by Edge Driving School due to instructor availability or weather will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

3. Refund Policy

Unused in-car lesson hours may be refunded at Edge Driving School's discretion, less any administrative fee. Theory course components are non-refundable once access has been granted. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@edgedrivingschool.com.

4. Student Conduct

Students are expected to arrive on time, be in a condition fit to drive, and treat instructors with respect. Edge Driving School reserves the right to terminate a lesson or cancel enrolment without refund in cases of unsafe behaviour, intoxication, or repeated failure to attend scheduled lessons without notice.

5. Instructor Assignment

Instructor assignment is at the discretion of Edge Driving School. While we make reasonable efforts to accommodate preferences for specific instructors (including female instructors), we cannot guarantee a specific instructor on all dates.

6. Licence Requirements

Students undertaking in-car lessons must hold a valid Alberta Class 7 learner's licence at the time of their first in-car lesson. Edge Driving School is not responsible for any consequences arising from a student driving without a valid licence.

7. Limitation of Liability

Edge Driving School's liability is limited to the course fee paid. We are not liable for consequential damages arising from road test outcomes, licence decisions by Alberta Transportation, or insurance premium changes.
